Voice Performance Rights and Provenance

1. What a story's voice notice means
Mystrix records a bounded voice-provenance line in the public cast projection sealed with each voiced Story version. The dedicated legal area explains the performance-rights tiers; Story detail and player surfaces do not display platform licensing notices over or alongside Story content. The sealed projection complements the machine-readable provenance marker embedded in materialized voice audio.
A cast credit appears only when the licence's scope permits public credit. Permission to use a performance does not by itself grant permission to name the performer, so a story can truthfully disclose its tier while omitting a person's name.
Licensed expert testimony in a documentary or course is a contributor use, not a fictional cast
role. Publication checks the exact contribution version, credential evidence, topic, rating and
program scope, selected recording segments, attribution, and pinned performance licence, then
seals the public-safe contributor and disclosure pair with that release. Documentary reader
surfaces validate and render that immutable historical disclosure rather than re-resolving a
mutable catalogue entry. When an instructional session returns selected testimony for an
unlocked lesson, it rechecks the current contribution, credentials, Story and topic scope, and
performance licence before returning those exact audio or video segments. A later withdrawal
blocks new qualification and instructional segment delivery without erasing an already-published
credit, use, or payment record. Performer and payee identities are not inferred from the public
contributor attribution.
2. Licensed library
A licensed-library voice comes from an upstream voice vendor. The performer-consent chain is held through that vendor. Mystrix does not hold the library performer's consent directly. Mystrix records the vendor, rights-instrument reference, territory, term, and the exact licence version used for the voice.
### Creator-supplied exact performances
A creator may attach their own managed recording to one line in a locked Story beat. Before attaching it,
the creator must identify the performer, state whether they performed it or hold permission from
the performer, and explicitly confirm the displayed rights statement. Mystrix seals that
attestation to the exact audio-byte digest and exact line-text digest. Editing or unlocking the
script invalidates the line binding; it does not rewrite the recording or silently transfer the
attestation to different words. A creator-supplied attestation is not a Mystrix-performer licence
and does not put the recording into the licensed library.
3. Mystrix performer
A Mystrix-performer voice comes from a performer who granted Mystrix a sealed, scoped licence. Mystrix holds that performer's consent directly for the uses the active licence permits. The scope can limit rating, program form, content, territory, term, named stories, and public credit, and a later suspension or revocation stops new use.
4. Synthetic performer
A synthetic-performer voice is attested as not derived from and not recognisable as any identifiable natural person. There is therefore no natural performer whose consent Mystrix could hold directly. Mystrix records the attested derivation and never uses this tier as a fallback for unknown provenance.
5. Credits and changes
Performer names shown in a public cast come from the exact licence version sealed at publication. A licence that declines public credit produces no performer name in the public projection. A later licence edit creates a new version; it does not rewrite the historical story projection.
